Toots Pizza once again attended Trendlewood in Nailsea for their community day.  The weather wasn't at its finest but the woodfired sourdough pizza definitely were!  A great event and another day where we had great feedback on the quality of our pizza .

Toots & Co attended a lovely wedding in the South West and we set up near the beautiful barn.  Guests came out to order their individual pizzas.  It was a beautiful setting, a beautiful night and beautiful people.  The groom came onboard to make his own sourdough pizza and turn it inside the woodfired oven.  Toots & Co are available for weddings and events.  Just contact us for more information.  We can add on coffees, ice creams, barrels, waffles.  We can even stay overnight and provide the breakfast and much needed coffee for the morning!

Toots Pizza had the pleasure of attending a post wedding Sunday BBQ in Bristol during the summer.  We were asked to attend to hand-stretch and cook our woodfired sourdough pizzas for the post wedding guests.  A beautiful private home in Bristol was the location and we set up near the marquee.  Guests were quick to come out to choose their own pizza toppings, watch whilst we hand-stretch, topped with local ingredients and cooked them to perfection in our woodfired oven.  Each one took just under 90 seconds.  Our pizzas were enjoyed by the pool on a beautiful sunny day.  

Toots Pizza were asked to attend Wedmore Harvest Home this August to provide food for visitors attending the event.  We arrived just after their day celebrations had ended and couldn't set up fast enough as gusts were queing for pizza before we had time to get the fire started!  Another successful weekend event for Team Toots.  

Toots & Co can cater for any event.  For this private party we arrived with our mobile coffee cart to serve up barista lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, hot chocolates as well as millionnaires shortbreads, chocolate brownies, carrot cake, rainbow cake and pastries for their birthday celebrations.  We have our own blend of coffee beans and each cup is freshly ground to order and made using a variety of milks.  The bakes are supplied to us from a local baker and again made to order.  Our coffee cart can be set up inside or outside venues.

Our donuts are hand decorated to order and we can make them to match any theme.  Decadent.  Sweet.  Loaded with naughtiness.  A rich, chocolatey fudge base, lotus biscoff crumbs, oreo crumbs, and a delicious sauce drizzled over the top and a selection of chocolatey sweets added just in case there wasn't already enough calories involved.  Served alongside our selection of coffees or can be ordered by the box load and either collected or dropped off at your venue.  What are you waiting for?   These bad boys are available all year round!

Well, it was a love festival so what other shape could we hand stretch the pizzas sourdough pizzas to?  The favourite combination at this event was the Got The Goat Pizza.  Handfull of goats cheese on top a smoky bourbon base, a little stretchy fior di latte mozzarella, black olives, caramelised onions and, once out the oven, a handful of rocket and a drizzle of balsamic glaze to finish.  Individually boxed up and scoffed down by some very contented festival go ers!

Every year Toots & Co attend a lovely family day in Somerset.  We've been going ever since we started in 2016.  We always attend with our gorgeous little ice cream trike, hand clad in reclaimed wood.  There is always a queue for ice cream and we don't stop scooping from the moment the gates open until the moment the event closes.  Hand-scooped gelato ice creams into pots and served up alongside a choice of sauces and sweet toppings.  Available for any event: weddings, sporting, corporate, birthdays - any event where you need ice cream!

Toots Pizza attended Bristol Volksfest this year and we supplied our gorgeous trailer along with our funky gazebo with interactive angel wings.  A selection of pizza choices were once again available and the queues seem to start earlier and earlier for this popular event in the VW Calendar.  The volunteers at this festival are the best.  Everyone has a great time and the vibe for families is awesome.  Looking forward to joining again in 2024!

In the Summer of 20223 we headed over to Wales for a fabulous festival wedding.

We were asked to provide the catering for the whole day/evening.

Toots arrived the night before to set up the mobile bar near the main tipi.  We also put the Pizza trailer in situ and prepared all the food onsite for the following day.  We slept overnight in the adjoining open sided marquee.  Well, we say slept, We awoke every 5 minutes to check for badgers and foxes slipping inside to see what was about!

Early the next morning we unloaded the ice cream trike and set this up alongside our greenwall and our "I licked it so it's mine" neon sign.

This event was a little more of a challenge as everything was prepped onsite and we were provideding:

Woodfired pizza

Salads

Evening Grazing Savoury and Sweet Table

Added to the challenge of prepping in the middle of a field, the guests had a LOT of dietary requirements.

​

There were quite a few people with a gluten intolerance, lots of vegans, guests who didn't like cheese, one with a garlic intolerance, one with a tomato intolerance, one with a black pepper intolerance.

​

We had to serve the pizzas to the tables.  The bowls of salads had to be kept separate so that we had options for vegan potato salad, vegan coleslaw, tomato free salads, coleslaw/potato salads without black pepper or onions.  Guests with allergens were not seated together but spread out throughout the tipi.  So we had to ensure that all bowls of salads were named so that no cross contamination would occur.  It was quite a challenge, especially as we also had to provide vegan ice creams, vegan graze boards and desserts as well.

One of our team ended up in hsopital the day before so we were also a "man" down for the event.

​

But, here at Toots, we rise to a challenge and the team on the day did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping all food items separate and served on time to the right place setting.  Two ovens and two pizza chefs were brought in so that the gluten free pizza bases were kept separate and we have found THE BEST high melting vegan cheese.

​

The client was very happy and we went over and above to ensure that everything went to plan.  Let me tell you that the grazing spread was out of this world as we also took along our vintage garden cart for displaying the dessert graze.  There was SO much food available!

One day in August we were asked to attend a joint 70th birthday celebration in Portway, Bristol.  A cracking little venue with about 80 guests attending.  We supplied ice creams from 3.30 until 5.30pm.  Then from 6pm until 9:30pm we served up our sourough pizzas cooked in our woodfired oven.

We used Toots for our 70th birthday party. The ice creams (mango, raspberry ripple and mint choc chip) were excellent and very much enjoyed by 3 generations of our family and friends. The pizzas were also excellent and the children in particular very much enjoyed just being able to wander up to the pizza van and do their own ordering. Thoroughly recommend!
